History

EBFF, was founded in 2013 as a 501(c)(3) CA non-profit corporation dedicated to giving kids an exciting, safe and fun flag football experience.  EBFF ran flag football leagues serving thousands of kids in Oakland and Alameda until Spring of 2020 (Covid).  In late 2020, EBFF outsourced league operations to Gridiron, a completely unrelated entity. 

Using player registration fees, EBFF  has donated more than $34,000 to local charities and schools!  

Competitive Non-Contact Football With EXPRESS!

For our athletes that want more flag football, Express forms teams to join local flag football leagues (moderate intensity) and tournaments (very high intensity).  All Express athletes can participate on Express teams in local flag football leagues (this requires additional registration and fees).  Players must try out or be chosen by Express coaches to join. Express fees paid may be used to partially or fully offset tournament registration and travel costs . Email [email protected] for more details.
